"Arrogant Fred Graham is directing a production of William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, starring his ex-diva wife in the title role of the shrew when the contentious love affair between the actors begins to parallel the bickering characters they are portraying. All-out calamity ensues in this toe-tapping, knee-slapping play-within-a-play."
Auditioners should be prepared to sing a musical piece of 16-32 measures and possibly cold-read from the script. Most of the roles are adult roles (mid-teens and up)...we will also be looking for a supporting ensemble. The show is directed by Ted Smith and Music Directed by Pete Greene. Accompaniment by Kristen Criado, Props by Jude Braymer, Set Construction by Ed Ramage, and produced by Carolyn Jamison and Mary Ann Richardson.
You can fill out an audition packet at the audition call or download it here and bring it with you.
