Composed in 1741, Messiah is Handel’s most famous creations, it’s uplifting and wondrous music performed annually around the world to millions of fans. A holiday favorite at the BCT, this year features solo recitative performances by Randy Bowser, Nate Hall, Jennifer Lofink, Amanda Lawton, Daniel Lovestrand, Katie Kirby-Rogers, Sonja Firster, Linda Leisher, Denise Mains, Becky Grove, and Janelle Chambers.
Over 60 singers are in the full Messiah chorus in an evening highlighted by the Hallelujah Chorus and ending with the traditional audience sing-a-long to our favorite holiday songs. Under the direction this year of Zachary Covington, Messiah performs for one show only on December 18th at 8pm.
